2D Platformer
My proposed modifications for my final submission is to entirely change the entire of Main Menu to accurately represent and match the theme of the game: background, UI, buttons, etc. I want to spend a generous amount of time on creating a fun intro of a main menu, and also swap out the UI level selection and the pause screens on each level.
I want the center of my focus to be on level complexity, instead of 3D environment (as that was my main focus last time). I want to create an original pickup, complete with its own script function, sound effect, and sprite. Or perhaps create/script something that explodes to damage the player/or enemies.
Level 1 will be completely retiled, and reworked to add challenges.
I will also create a brand new level 2 + 3, instead of replicating level 1, with its own obstacles and goals. I will expand the size of the game itself to have more room to work with.
I think I will also create minor adjustments to game music and sound effects, and foreground tile detailing as time allocates.

Your modification proposals are really well thought-out and detailed, fantastic job! I'm really looking forward to playing your finished product.
The best advice that I can give you in terms of level design would be to make sure that each level has some sort of unique identifier. New types of challenges, enemies, obstacles, or powerups can massively help with this. Putting some time into playtesting and differentiating your levels (to figure out, from a player's perspective, how the level plays) can also give you some direction in how to design things.
